Serving all of Southeastern Virginia and beyond, E and E Special Events would be honored to be a part of your special day! Whether a wedding in Virginia Beach, a reception in Chesapeake, a retirement party in Portsmouth, or a night to remember in Norfolk, we delight in creating fun and memorable experiences for you and your guests. We offer a client focused, personal approach to our interactions. From start to finish you will know who your DJ/Musicians are, and they will work with you to help you plan music for your event! Our extensive experience in performance and as Masters of Ceremony (MC) enables us to make all necessary announcements and keep the event on the specified timeline.

Standard Wedding DJ Package

Our Wedding DJ service includes a performance by a dedicated professional DJ who will keep your event running smoothly. We'll work with you to create a unique experience for you and your guests as we understand no two events are alike.
  -Our Signature DJ.  Ezra is the business owner and Lead Dj for E and E Special Events.
  - DJ Music Services for your Cocktail Hour, Dinner, and Reception.
  - Bumping Sound System & a Handheld Wireless Microphone
  - Online/App Playlist Tool (Vibo)
  - Backup Speakers/Computer/Equipment
  - Pre-Event Planning Consultations
Ceremony Coverage (Standard)
Our Standard Ceremony Music services are for events where the ceremony is in the same room/area as the reception.
    -DJ Music services
    -Wireless Lapel Mic for officiant
    -Audio output for videographers
Dance Floor Lighting (Standard)
Our Dance Floor lighting increases the energy of the dancing portion of the event!


Enhanced Wedding DJ Package

Our Enhanced DJ service includes everything from the Standard Wedding Package and adds:
Multiple Setups!!
Our enhanced/multiple Music Services are tailored to your needs! The pricing reflects any manner of potential setups. Some examples of an enhanced/multiple Setup include:
-Cocktail Hour in a different room
-Portions of the party in locations without electrical outlets
-Events at separate locations than the reception
-"Audio only" setups to facilitate live musicians/singers
-etc...



Live Music

What better way to set the mood than to have a live sax player for your cocktail hour or dinner?! If you would like to have a truly unique touch to your event, we can help! Whether you would like a Saxophone , Duet, or Combo, we would love to set up live music for you! Here are a few of our services…


Solo Saxophone

In addition to being your DJ, Ezra is also an accomplished Saxophonist!  Imagine having him play live with backing tracks for your cocktail hour:  So classy!


Guitar Singer

A Singing Guitarist who plays a variety of cover tunes!  Nothing beats a live musician who sets the mood for the whole day!


DJ + Drummer

 

Give the drummer some!  Having a drummer at your event adds so much groove to the dance floor!
-Live drummer for peak hour dancing
-Plays with DJ for entire dance set!


Cocktail Combo / Dinner Band

Our Dinner Bands or Cocktail Combos play a lively mix of Pop, R&B, Jazz, Rock, Soul, and Country.
You can choose to have singer, saxophonist, or both to front your band!

(Dinner Band includes a free Cocktail Soloist!)


DJ + Band Hybrid “3rd Table”

The "3rd Table" cranks the party up with a live band!  Seamless transitions between the DJ and the band make for a completely unique and exciting event!  You'll get the best of both parties with an E and E Special Events DJ and the band as his 3rd turntable!

-Free add on live solo musician for Cocktail Hour

Lighting

We also offer amazing lighting services! Not only will your event sound great, it will also look great! (Your Photographers and Videographers will thank you)

Uplights

We offer 20 units of wirelessly controlled, uplights that will splash your reception room with color.  Uplight colors are fully customizable and can even be made to match your specific color design.  But the best thing about these uplights is that they make all of your photos and videos look amazing!  Your photographer and videographer will have so much more to work with when we are able to make the room have "depth!" They even become part of the party when we switch to dancing, as they are fully integrated into the dance floor lighting system!!


Sparks

"Cold Spark Machines" speak for themselves don't they?!  There is no way to match the excitement of having sparks fly for your grand entrances/exits and even near your dance floor!  (Unfortunately, some venues don't allow sparks.  Your venue professional will be able to tell you if they allow Sparks.)  Even though these machines are very safe, and we operate them with proper licensure, there can be a permitting concern involved,, so don't wait to add these to your package!  


Enhanced Dance Floor Lighting

We offer professional level motion lights that add tons of energy and imagery to your dance floor!  We also offer a "wash lighting" system to bathe the dance floor in color!  In addition we offer the option of adding "haze" to the room to make an energetic lighting display!  This is all included in our enhanced dance floor add-on.   


Baton Lights

Baton Lights are an amazing addition to your event.  Since it can be a hassle to get these ready, we make sure to have them prepped for you at the perfect moment! I mean really… Is it even a party without these?!?!


Silent Disco

A unique way to keep the party going! These are great for events at private residences or rentals (like Sandbridge houses). With the Silent Disco, we offer wireless headphones (65 units) for guests to keep dancing to the DJ even if the neighbors think a DJ is too loud!
